Oscars Night

I was lucky enough to watch the 82nd Academy Awards in the basement of a beautiful house on the comfiest sofa ever with some lovely people, and we had great fun. Why don't they show the ceremony on British telly? Can someone answer me this question?

Anyway, dresses galore!

SJP in Chanel Haute Couture - it's a showstopper, especially the back (which I don't have a picture of, sorry) however, this image of her jewellery scared me, what is with her freaky hands?


JLo, in Armani Prive, as was Amanda Seyfield, but I prefered JLo's dress, the gorgeous pastel shade and the epic shape was pure oscars deliciousness.

Rachel McAdams was sooo stunning in Elie Saab haute couture, I think the best part of being an actress must be wearing couture and getting to look as good as this.

Vera Farmiga in Marchesa, classic epic Oscars-ness.

Sandra Bullock looked absolutely stunning, this picture doesn't really do her justice, and after much guessing, we were all surprised to find out that the dress was Marchesa!!!

But best dressed award of the night goes to Zoe Saldana in her Givenchy Haute Couture gown.

Watching the actual ceremony made me appreciate the dresses and the beauty more, maybe it's all the makeup, but as far as Hollywood is concerned, you don't get in unless you're absolutely beautiful.
