Full Body Scanners
I know this is totally off topic for this blog - not that I know what the general topic is... - but I heard about this from someone else and kinda didn't believe what they said, but these full body scanners like, show your bits! Like, these are full on x-ray machines! They're not just metal detectors, or heat detectors, but they actually show the contours of your body and various parts!!
The scanners are being tested at Manchester Airport at the moment, but under 18s are exempt, because the scanners break child porn laws. But why is it not ok to show child's bits and pieces to random people but it is ok to show everyone else's?
There is also the argument that celebs 'scans' will end up on the internet or cause too much fuss at the airports.
This whole idea seems to be a bit too... revealing? Are they taking the whole terrorism scare too far? Would this stop someone with gunpowder stitched into their knickers? Probably not!
